- Title
Psychic Totalitarian Madness Infects Rural Montana.
- Authors
KELLY, STEVE
- Abstract
The article discusses the approval of an indoor commercial tennis facility by the Gallatin County Commission in Bozeman, Montana, despite objections from rural residents. The facility is being built in a rural, agricultural district that is important for mule deer winter range. The author criticizes the county government for prioritizing the interests of wealthy settlers over the rural community and accuses them of using authoritarian tactics to seize rural land. The article also highlights the negative impact of conditional use permits (CUPs) on agricultural land and wildlife. Rural residents are called upon to resist this form of totalitarianism.
