In this article the author discusses the magnetic field and high critical temperature in iron (Fe) and cuprates-based superconductors. He is critical of the use of semiconductors involving expensive and complex technologies to deal with various material requirements and differing physics. He also notes the presence of a magnetic field whether superconductors are utilized in motors, magnets, or transmission and generators lines.
