- Abstract
In fact, despite always considered a chronic liver disease, AIH frequently shows an acute onset; Lohse et al not only considered those histological findings not specific in these cases, except for interface hepatitis, but also proposed a new simplified diagnostic terminology based on "likely", "possible" and "unlikely" AIH.
