- Title
NONRIVALRY AND PRICE DISCRIMINATION IN COPYRIGHT ECONOMICS.
- Authors
Conley, John P.; Yoo, Christopher S.
- Abstract
The article discusses the effects of the 'Samuelson condition' of a market with emphasis on the factors that should guide the argument on public goods theory. It explores the fundamental economics of pure public goods and outlines the defects of the current framework of the 'neoclassicism-versus-minimalism' debate on copyright economics. It also presents a formal model of pure public goods as well as examining the role of price discrimination in economic welfare maximization.
