- Abstract
The article discusses various ethical rules governing the conduct of lawyers during bargaining interactions, and the standards imposed by communitarians on practicing attorneys. It explores different negotiator styles to see which ethics approach is most reflective of real world encounters which are employed by legal practitioners. It evaluates ethical issues based on the communitarian approach which are associated with the collaborative and cooperative law movements.
