- Abstract
The thermal decomposition reactions of CHCHC(CH)COOAg (1), (CH)SiCHCOOAg ( 2), CFCOOAg ( 3), (CH)CCOOAg ( 4), CHCOOAg ( 5), CFCOOAg ( 6), CFCOOAg ( 7) and (CF)(COOAg) ( 8) were studied in N atmosphere using thermogravimetry (TG), derivative thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis. Characterized compounds decomposed in one- or multi-step processes with metallic silver formation in the range 215-465 °C. TG-IR studies of gases evolved during thermolysis revealed products of decomposition, such as carboxylic acids, CO and recombination reactions.
