This article presents a summary of the article "Cognitive strategies and running performance: An exploratory study," by T. M. Okwumabua, A. W. Meyers, R. Schlester, and C. J. Cooke. It examines methods aimed at improving running performance among novice runners. Strategies employed in the study were relaxation, associative, and dissociative techniques.
