- Abstract
Considering that the application scope of railway concrete portal pier is limited due to its large dead weight of bent cap and the need for cast-in-situ support, it is proposed to apply UHPC and segmental assembly technology to hollow box-shaped concrete portal piers to further reduce its own weight. The scheme of factory prefabrication and the overall hoisting after the on-site segment assembly is used to realize that the concrete structure portal piers span the existing line. Through calculation and analysis, the feasibility of the technical scheme is verified, and the supporting construction method is proposed. The technical and economic indicators also are compared and analyzed with the steel portal pier scheme of the same span.
