- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the effects of malathion on carbohydrate metabolism in the tissues of the Indian rice field crab (Oziotelphusa senex senex). The study used 240 specimens of crabs obtained from local rice fields where no evidence of anticholinesterases contamination. Moreover, the study revealed that no crabs died during exposure to 2 milligram (mg) malathion for 30 days.
