THE LIVING AND THE POETIC INTENTION.
- Authors
Corio, Alessandro
- Abstract
The article examines the works of Martinican author Édouard Glissant from a biopolitical perspective. It is noted that the intersection between poetics and politics may serve as a key to interpreting Glissant's works. His works include the essay "Philosophie de la Relation," the poem "The Poetic Intention" and the poetry anthology "La terre le feu l'eau et les vents." Glissant's arguments about the language of the living and the relationship between language and truth are discussed.
