- Abstract
" The New Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)" is oriented towards core competencies, and has made revisions in the curriculum nature, concept, objectives, content, requirements for academic quality, and its implementation. The new curriculum standards require teachers to change their professional knowledge from static singularity to dynamic synthesis, their curriculum competencies from faithful execution to active development, their teaching improvement from reading what the book says to embodied practice, and their teaching and research training from marginal coping to deep participation. In the face of the new requirements of the new curriculum standards, teachers may face the adaptive difficulties in changing the concept from score first to the competency first, the model from the teaching-based to the learning-based, the evaluation from the knowledge-based to the process-focused, the professional development from extrapolated homogeneity to endogenous diversity. In this regard, teachers should adapt themselves to the educational concepts, reform teaching practices in multiple dimensions, immerse themselves in research and training activities in order to better implement the new curriculum standard
