- Abstract
The article focuses on the initiatives taken by the U.S. Congress to deal with problems of administrative procedure. In 1930s it proposed alterations through the Walter-Logan bill, which did not pass, and after this it emphasized procedural uniformity, exemplified by the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), which is considered a landmark effort to improve administrative procedure. It mentions that later several developments took place such as recommendations of legislative measures by the U.S. Attorney-General and the American Bar Association to adopt priniciples to provide proper framework of administrative procedure legislation.
