- Authors
INSAU, FRED E.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the admissibility of scientific evidence in criminal cases. It offers information on the case of Magnuson v State decided in the year 1925 by the Supreme Court of Wisconsin where scientific evidence helped to convince the jury to sustain a conviction of murder in the first degree. It offers information on another case State v Clark decided by the Supreme Court of Washington in 1930 where scientific evidence helped to convict the accused person of assaulting a young girl, even though the girl could not positively identify him.
