- Authors

- Abstract
In the passage from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century, the change of dynasties that would occupy the Castilian throne and therefore, the ownership over the overseas territories, also brought great changes to New Spain. In the City of Puebla de los Angeles, this would be presented initially with a vacant episcopal see, which would soon be occupied by García de Legazpi Velasco and Altamirano who had among the issues to attend, the regalism of the house of Bourbon and the beginning of the Enlightened Despotism.
