- Abstract
Newly four ligands were prepared in this work represented in (anil-azo) compound by many reactions, which act by condensation reaction for carbonyl of aldehyde with amine compound to produce anil compound then azotation reaction to give compound which reacted with (diethyl malonate, malonic acid) to yield ligand {1} and ligand {2}, respectively, but ligand{3} comes from reaction of ligand {1} with thiosemicarbazide by cyclization reaction to yield ligand {3} which reacted with chloroacetyl chloride to produce ligand {4}. Newly anil -azo ligands have been investigated through many chemical and spectral methods such as (UV-Visible spectra, 1H NMR, FT.IR) with other measurements such as thermo- measurements curves and bio- effect for all anil -azo ligands.
