- Abstract
The aim of the present study was to examine the anxiety and well-being among college students. The sample consists of 80 college students, in which 40 students belonging to arts background and 40 students were science background. Anxiety measure developed by investigator (2014) and well-being measure developed by Nagpal and Sel (1978) were used. The data was analyzed using mean, SD & t-test. The findings ofthe study suggested that arts and science students were significantly differ on anxiety and well-being. Results also showed that the dimension of well-being namely mental mastery over self and environment & density of social life were significantly differ among arts and science students. The implications of the findings have been discussed.
