- Abstract
The application research progress of polytetrafluoroethylene microporous membranes in the field of personal protection was summarized. The development process of polytetrafluoroethylene membrane was introduced and the protective mechanism of polytetrafluoroethylene membranes in different environmental media was analyzed. Starting from two aspects of polytetrafluoroethylene membrane in barrier and active protective fields,research and application of polytetrafluoroethylene membrane in medical protective clothing,medical mask,nuclear and biochemical protective clothing,thermal management and self-cleaning materials were discussed.It is considered that through selecting composite support materials,optimizing membrane forming process and doping functional nanoparticles,the membrane property can be improved and enriched. Then high-performance and multifunctional polytetrafluoroethylene composite materials can be prepared according to actual protective application needs,and play an important role in the field of intelligent protection in the future.
