- Abstract
This article discusses a case of severe allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) caused by a moisturizing and strengthening facial cream. The patient experienced symptoms such as oedematous eczema after applying the cream, which contained phytonadione epoxide and bisabolol. Repeated open application tests and patch tests confirmed the patient's sensitivity to these ingredients. The article suggests that bisabolol should be considered an allergen and that phytonadione epoxide should be banned in cosmetic products.
