- Abstract
The article discusses how evidence-based practices has standardized the medical care in pancreatic cancer surgery. Topics including use of pancreaticoduodenectomy as the standard operation of patients with resectable pancreatic cancer; complexities related to Pancreaticoduodenectomy operations that can lead to the problems such as leak, bleeding, cardiac dysrhythmias, delayed gastric emptying; and application of Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) guidelines.
