- Abstract
This article, titled "Editorial: Non-coding RNA regulation of secondary metabolism in plants," discusses the role of non-coding RNAs in the biosynthesis and regulation of secondary metabolites in plants. Secondary metabolites, such as terpenoids and flavonoids, play important roles in plant defense, signaling, and medicinal properties. The article highlights recent research that has revealed the involvement of non-coding RNAs, including miRNAs and lncRNAs, in the regulation of secondary metabolism.
