- Abstract
The article replies to the comments of Robert Dixon on the diffusion of economic diffusion described by the logistic function with three parameters: the date of first commercial availability, the rate of acceptance and the ceiling. The assumption of a constant ceiling by a mathematical model is a mistake because it did not follow a fixed logistic curve. The ceiling is now respecified so that it becomes a function of economic variables that change over time. The maximum feasible penetration level is defined by new technology and the state of the economy.
