- Abstract
The article discusses various aspects of the career of the late African American attorney and Judge Constance Baker Motley who served as the NAACP Legal Defense Fund's first female lawyer, and it mentions the U.S. Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment and the equal protection legal matters that were decided after the Brown v. Board of Education segregation case. Education law cases such as Holmes v. Danner and San Antonio Independent School District v. Rodriguez are assessed.
