- Abstract
This article focuses on curriculum studies, the origins of which are comingled with the culture of the "Bildungsroman." The author describes "Bildungsroman" as a genre of literature in which a young person becomes an adult member of society, and through which one can understand or propose a form of education of the individual as member of society. The article also references the books "The Character of Curriculum Studies" by William Pinar and "The Puppet and the Dwarf," by Slavoj Zizek.
