- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the incubation sex-roles of the Rufous-Chested Dotterel or Charadrius Modestus. Methodology involves molecular sexing of adults and sex-roles determined through cameras placed in their nests. It reveals that males have no significant body mass difference over females and that sex-role incubation involves both parents contributing equal amounts of time at the nest, with females mainly incubating at night and males incubating during the day.
