- Title
Rascals.
- Abstract
A reprint of the article "Rascals" which appeared in the June 16, 1899 issue of "Emanu-El" volume 8, number 5 is presented. Several Jewish children in New York had a cross tattooed on their arms after a few Hebrew-Christian rascals enticed them to do so. It is believed that some candy or other sweets were used to induce those children. The article commented that only the self-delusion on the part of some weak-minded Christians that for a few dollars good Christians might be manufactured out of bad Jews, made such an affair possible.
