- Abstract
The article discusses the ethical issues involved in family planning and population control methods in developing countries. Discussion on how coercive methods of controlling population interferes an individual's freedom and contradicts to the international human and reproductive health rights is provided. Emphasis on the need for governments to invest on examining the ethical issues and guidelines in family planning programs to educate and inform people about the right choices is offered.
