- Abstract
We report the results of a dc magnetization study of the graphite doped with Ca atoms (CaC30). A Ca-doped graphite was prepared in an ultra-high vacuum (UHV) chamber without lithium atoms used for making bulk CaC6. The superconducting transition temperature ( TSC) was about 9.2 K, which is lower than that of CaC6 (11.5 K). Further, at a 50 mT, the second transition occurs at higher temperatures in ZFC and FC, viz. 250 K in ZFC and 130 K in FC.
