- Abstract
The article focuses on the efforts of the Hastings Center in New York, New York in dealing on moral challenges posed by AIDS. The center's initiative was funded by the Charles A. Dana Foundation through bioethics advocate and American Foundation for AIDS Research founding national chairman Mathilde Krim. The issues of confidentiality and ethics of research were given more focus to protect the rights and privacy of the vulnerable victims.
