- Abstract
The article discusses the efforts of many defense attorneys in wrongful death legal cases in Vermont who file motions and seek court orders to exclude evidence of plaintiffs' grief and anguish which is related to the death of their loved ones. According to the article, damages for relational losses are not available under Vermont's Wrongful Death Act. Judgments by the Vermont Supreme Court are mentioned, along with legal liability and statutory amendments.
