- Abstract
The article focuses on the transfer agreements of jurisdiction over the Somali pirates and the problems faced by it in domestic courts. It discusses the prosecutions in Kenya and the Seychelles by comparing and contrasting the jurisdictional law. It discusses the Kenya High Court case In re Mohamud Mohamed Dashi & 8 Others in which defendants were charged for piracy. It advocates reconstruction of Somalia as the only solution to control the Somali piracy.
