- Abstract
The article describes the political changes caused by Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission and legal and corporate governance challenges faced by the U.S. policy makers. It describes similar challenges faced by Great Britain and highlights the British Companies Act that requires shareholder consent on political spending. It introduces the data on corporate political spending in Great Britain from 2000 to 2010 in order identify the lessons the U.S. should learn from Great Britain.
