- Abstract
The article discusses the history of the Kabbalistic book "Ta'alumot ḥokhmah" in the Americas and Europe. Topics include the pharmacological study of manuscript author J.C.A., the multilingualism of the text, and the presence of languages including Dutch and Portuguese in the manuscript. The association of the book with Portuguese Jews living in either Naarden, Netherlands or Amsterdam, Netherlands through a family record contained in it is addressed.
