- Abstract
The authors discuss the important aspects of exome sequencing to determine the genetic basis of complex human traits and phenotypes. They examine the exome sequencing studies and their statistical properties to identify the association between rare variants and phenotypes. They also look at the extent of rare coding variation, code processing, and sequence data quality control to demonstrate the interaction between genotypes and phenotypes and their function in complex traits formation.
