- Abstract
The article focuses on the growth of Nollywood in Caribbean islands. According, Nollywood has grown to various islands of Caribbean because aside from their racial identities, Nigerians and the inhabitants of anglophone Caribbean islands share important religious and cultural similarities that derive from common heritage and experience of slavery and British colonialism tat left them with a common language. Moreover, Nigerian films in the Caribbean are not limited to St. Lucia, their popularity extends through all of the former British colonies in the region including Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis, the author noted.
