The article presents a medical case of a woman with intergluteal itching in need of relief. The patient is a 55-year-old African American woman has been diagnosed by several primary health care providers as a yeast infection and also has mild hypertension. The case is lichen sclerosus et atriphicus (LS&A), an inflammatory condition that affects the upper epidermis. A discussion on LS&A as well as the treatment and prognosis is provided.
