- Title
When Will Dental Practice Values Decline?
- Authors
Brown, Timothy A.; McNulty, Mark
- Abstract
The article calls for dentists to sell their practice in Canada early to avoid devaluation due to global financial crisis. Dental practices are driven by supply and demand based on the studies of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Canadian Federation of Independent Business. It predicts that more dentists will be between 50 and 65 years old by 2009. It notes that financial institutions will increase their interest rates and tighten credit conditions for loans obtained by dentists.
