- Abstract
The article explores brachybacterium strain produces a malto-oligosaccharide-forming amylase. The structural gene encoding the amylase from strain was cloned and sequenced. The enzyme hydrolyzed starch to produce maltotriose primarily. This content improves product selectivity in water-miscible organic solvents.
