- Abstract
This article focuses on the use of expertise and specialized knowledge of U.S. administrative agencies to evaluate evidences and not as substitute of evidences on legal proceedings. The Supreme Court of Oregon believes on the efficiency on adjudication using the knowledge from the members of these agencies. A survey on the case of Kyu Son Yi v. State Board of Veterinary Medicine, is presented as an example on how the rule is applied by courts. The impact of this case and its implications for future court cases are also discussed.
