- Abstract
Loss of tooth structure is the main sequela of dentinogenesis imperfecta (DI). Due to severe enamel attrition, patients with DI often present with esthetic, occlusal, endodontic, and speech complications. Therefore, an interdisciplinary approach, divided into separate clinical steps, should be developed to provide comprehensive dental rehabilitation. The purpose of this case report is to discuss the use of composite resin restorations as a transitional treatment step for the anterior teeth of an eight-year-old boy with DI until his bone and dental development permit orthodontic and orthog-natic surgery.
