- Abstract
The article discusses the authors' views on the importance of a useful and effective teaching practice that creates a safe classroom environment. They explain that working with diverse students can cultivate a dynamic learning environment to discuss controversial current issues but can be threatening at times. The authors believe that safe classroom is paramount when reflections of social discourses and controversial subjects are discussed.
