The article presents the author's views on abstracts publishing with specific reference to a study which evaluated the histological responses of pulp capping with adhesive resins. Commenting on the study, the author says that none of the materials tested in the study is recommended for pulp capping. The author says that readers are not able to assess if the conclusions presented in abstracts are valid. According to the author, without supporting data, abstracts can be dangerous.
