- Abstract
The article reports that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an emergency use authorization to allow administration of JYNNEOS vaccine by intradermal injection for persons exposed to monkeypox (Mpox). It informs that Mpox cases that occurred in vaccinated persons were associated with lower percentage of hospitalization, fever, headache, malaise, myalgia, and chills, compared with cases in unvaccinated persons.
