- Abstract
The article discusses the cost-effectiveness of different strategies in understanding the biology of cervical cancer. A study was conducted on the cost-effectiveness of cervical cancer screening strategies by comparing the relative costs and outcomes with alternatives. As a summary, high opportunity costs are well illustrated by the increasing cost for annual screening with very little benefit over screening every 3 years.
