- Abstract
This paper used self - designed pulse electromagnetic field water treating equipment to make sterilization experiments on cooling water in a thermal power plant, and studied the influence of the factors, including the frequency, square - wave duty ratio and output voltage of DDS signal generator, on sterilization rate. The results show that, when the water temperature, the flow velocity, the frequency, the square - wave duty ratio, the output voltage of DDS signal generator and the continuous sterilization time are respectively 30°C, 170 L/h, 1000 Hz, 50%, 10 V and 10 hours, the sterilization rate can reach the maximum value (84.5%). Therefore, it is proved that pulse electromagnetic field has a good sterilizing effect for cooling water.
