- Abstract
In order to improve problems of air compressor unit being unable to cool down effectively by the existing ventilation system in an air compressor station of a textile factory in Xianyang,due to high temperature and uneven distribution,the distribution of temperature and wind speed in the air compressor station were tested in summer. The air compressor station was simulated with the measured data by means of CFD numerical simulation. Simulation results were consistent with the measured data,so the model was suitable. On this basis,the maximum air volume of the air supply station was calculated theoretically,and the air supply velocity of each outlet was determined. CFD was used to analyze temperature field and velocity field under the maximum air volume. The results showed that increasing air supply quantity and decreasing air supply height were helpful to increase heat dissipation of air compressor station and improve the cooling effect. At the same time,from the perspective of energy saving, optimization scheme of directly introducing outdoor fresh air into the suction inlet of air compressor by air pipe could be adopted in the transition season.
