- Abstract
The article presents a case study of primary biliary cirrhosis with unusual vascular skin changes. The patient was female, aged 51 years. Twelve years ago the patient noticed a symptomless black spot near the right ankle. Gradually similar lesions have appeared higher up the legs together with red spots on the trunk, and new lesions continue to erupt. Ten years ago she developed xanthelasma around the eyes. Three years ago she suffered from recurrent urticaria for a period. She had eczema as a child, and a rash on the neck 20 years ago, but the diagnosis is unknown.
