- Abstract
This article demonstrates a game created to assist in the discipline of engineering economics courses focused in the areas of engineering, on the platform Moodle. This game takes into account the change in methodology of teaching in university, offering students an innovative environment that influence learning. Regarding methodology, this research is classified as exploratory, as the approach is classified as qualitative since been used books, articles, journals to describe the literature review the conceptual issues such as: net present value, interest rates, cost of capital depreciation and systems that were required to develop the game. The end result is the play of economic engineering consists of five steps which are interconnected within an academic logic, but independent of each other, which lead students to practice the content transmitted in the classroom, in a virtual environment that stimulates learning, simulating a business environment, combining theory with practice.
