The article describes the case of an 8-year-old boy who presented to a pediatric clinic with fever, tender bilateral posterior cervical lymphadenopathy, sore throat and extreme fatigue. Topics covered include the medical history of the patient, the findings of the physical and laboratory examinations which led to the diagnosis of pediatricT tularemia of the head and neck, and a detailed medical history and thorough physical examination that is needed for the diagnosis of tularemia.
