- Authors
Westman, Jack C.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the new standards that have been set by the family advocacy organization, Wisconsin Cares Inc. for defining the standards required for parenthood. Wisconsin offers that the parents should be made to sign a parenthood pledge and parents who are legally or physically unfit for taking the responsibilities of a child should not be given these responsibilities. The process and the benefits of such an approach for avoiding abuse or neglect of children are discussed.
