- Abstract
The article focuses on several issues related to teaching statistics. As stated, students of statistics face several difficulties while interpreting survey information which include lack of technical vocabulary, little understanding of measures of dispersion and sampling distribution. It also offers answers to questions on statistics published in the previous issue which include one on series combination, one on statistical marketing technique and one on temperature measurement. It also offers news briefs related to statistics which include declaration of October 20, 2010 as the "World Statistics Day" by United Nations, Wiley Online Library as the new home for Teaching Statistics, and 23rd Annual International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics to be held on March 17, 2010.
